Institutions field verification requests for graduates for decades; employers wait days for a confirmation that arrives by email; and credential fraud is easy enough that entire businesses exist to sell convincing fakes. Students moving between institutions or countries carry the cost in delays and repeated document authentication.
What changes with iDen2
Issued once, verified anywhere
iDen2 lets an institution issue diplomas, enrollment confirmations and course credentials directly to the student, who keeps them permanently and shares them with employers, other universities or licensing bodies. Anyone can confirm the issuing institution and that the credential is genuine and still valid, without contacting the registrar. In the rare case where an award is rescinded, the institution cancels it and every subsequent verification reflects that, which is precisely what a paper certificate can never do.
