Supply chains run on assertions: this supplier is certified, this audit was passed, this batch was produced under agreed conditions, this sub-supplier meets the standard. Those assertions travel as PDFs and spreadsheets between organizations that have no way to confirm them, which makes compliance reporting slow and forged certification hard to detect, a particular problem as sustainability and provenance rules reach deeper into lower tiers.

Issued once, verified anywhere
iDen2 lets certifying bodies and auditors issue their findings as credentials directly to the supplier, who presents them to any buyer that asks. Buyers verify the issuer and the current validity themselves, without chasing the certifier. The trust network defines which bodies are recognized for which claims, so a certificate from an unapproved source is visibly not equivalent, and when an audit is failed or a certification withdrawn, the credential is revoked rather than continuing to circulate as a file.
