Operators carry heavy identity obligations, subscriber registration, activation checks, porting and SIM replacement, while running high-volume channels through retail partners and dealers who are a recurring source of fraud. SIM swap attacks succeed precisely because the identity check at the point of change is weaker than the account it protects, and each verification repeats work the operator has already done.

What changes with iDen2
Issued once, verified anywhere
iDen2 lets an operator issue a subscriber credential once and rely on it wherever identity matters afterwards: care calls, retail visits, porting, device upgrades and SIM replacement, in any channel, without repeating the original check. Cancellation is immediate when an account closes or a fraud flag is raised. Operators also sit in an unusually strong position to act as issuers for other sectors, turning identity work they already perform into a credential their customers can use elsewhere.
