Travel & Hospitality

A single trip involves proving identity and eligibility many times over, to airlines, hotels, car rental desks, tour operators and venues, mostly by handing over a passport or driver's license containing far more information than any of them needed. Every one of those parties then stores a copy. The result is lines, duplicated data collection, and a security posture that depends on staff visually inspecting documents from countries they have never seen documents from.

What changes with iDen2

Issued once, verified anywhere

iDen2 lets travel providers verify what they actually need, that the guest is the booking holder, is over the required age, holds a valid membership or has completed the required checks, as a credential presented from the traveler's phone. Checks that required a document review become instant, guests share less, and providers hold less. The same approach covers the staff side: crew, drivers, guides and contractors proving licenses and training across partners without a separate onboarding process for each.
